Summary Researching

training protocols, including schedule, individualized programs, and assessment
strategies and tools. Implementing the
program and monitoring its success in terms of enhancing student employability
(and thus sense of self worth and independence)

I currently teach a Fall 2002 section of this introductory course (CGS 1100) in productivity applications, required of all undergraduate business majors, as an adjunct professor for the College of Business, Florida Gulf Coast University. ► The Interdependent Community ■ www.zeang.com/robertfig/oth4932 Inclusive, Integrative, Collaborative Strategies for Community Health is the subtitle of this Spring 2003 special topics course (OTH 4932) in the Occupational Therapy program at Florida Gulf Coast University's College of Health Professions, which I am designing and will co-teach with Tina Gelpi (www.fgcu.edu/chp/ot/staff.asp) of the OTH department, and Gary Kluckhuhn of the Center for Assisted Living Innovation (www.cali-fgcu.org). ► Computer Education Pilot Project For Pueblo BonitoThis pilot project utilizes an onsite computer lab containing ten PCs connected to the Internet and equipped with ESL language programs. The aim is to teach primarily Spanish speaking residents of a low-income housing project how to use computers to aid them in learning English and other skills that can help them achieve their ambitions (e.g., getting their high school diploma, getting a better job, or for personal enjoyment and satisfaction). Students meet twice a week for up to two hours. My Role: Design and implement the program in all aspects, including hardware and software administration, and conducting the classes. Sponsored by:

Such projects are numerous among smaller organizations in Southwest Florida. |
