Since Elvira missed her session yesterday she attended today.  She stood in front of the mirror and identified herself as Elvira Garcia.  She kept saying that she has a cold.  Without hesitation she said she lived with her family, and her favorite color is green. She says her favorite food is sandwiches and coke.   When I asked her what she would like to do she said she wanted to sing.  Elvira is excited about the program and says she likes computers.   When introduced to the computer she needed hand over hand prompting as well as several verbal prompts to open a program.

Today I worked one on one with Elvira. We worked more on time telling with the match time program.  Elvira has trouble identifying the time on a face clock. She does better with numerical identification on a digital clock.  I noticed that a lot of the time she was guessing the answers and looking over at me for approval.  I went over the numbers on the clock, and the difference between the large hand and the small hand.  She responded better to prompting in Spanish than in English.   Her overall score with verbal prompting on every match was a 75%.

Elvira came to session today and was happy and cheerful; she brushed her hair and got ready to start work on the Match Time Program.  Today she worked on her own computer simultaneously with her peers. She was very distracted.  Elvira is still having difficulty identifying the hour on a face clock. She needs several verbal and physical prompts, and most of the time she guesses until she finds the correct answer.
