Check your updated grades:

EXCEL TEST!

All students

Find test @

Updated grades posted

Oct 28

All students.  Note that since only four quizzes remain (28 points) but 2 tests and 2 projects remain (representing over 140 points), your current course grades are over weighted and likely inflated by the quiz grades.  The Excel project and test together represent 80 points, or over ¼ of the course grade.

Check your grades.

You will need your student number, which was emailed to you a few weeks ago.

Teaching Philosophy

In the 21st century virtually every field of endeavor requires some proficiency with computer applications. College students must learn to use computer productivity tools to be successful in their academic pursuits and in their careers. Your instructor believes that learning software requires using software to do meaningful work. This course stresses practical use of mainstream applications (the Microsoft Office tools Word, Powerpoint and Excel) to produce quality original documents and communications typically required in academic and business situations. The instructor will strive to make this work interesting and thought-provoking for the students. Only students who conscientiously complete and submit satisfactory assignments that are solely the product of their own original work will gain proficiency with the applications, and be able to demonstrate that proficiency by passing quizzes, tests and the course.
